Philip Emmanuele is Divisional Vice President for Digital Direct Marketing at Sears Holdings. In this role, he is responsible for the digital direct to customer (email and SMS) marketing efforts for Sears and Kmart. Prior to joining Sears, Mr. Emmanuele was Assistant Vice President, Internet & Call Center Marketing at Allstate Insurance Company, responsible for direct-to-consumer marketing strategies and programs including direct mail, DRTV, online marketing, and Web site experience. Mr. Emmanuele's Internet marketing experience began in 1999, when he was appointed chief marketing officer of the online college textbook retailer eCampus.com. Responsible for all marketing programs as well as Web site design, Mr. Emmanuele led the development of several unique online applications and Web experiences targeted to students at hundreds of partner colleges and universities. Prior to eCampus.com, Mr. Emmanuele spent 13 years in advertising management at Leo Burnett, leading the marketing communications strategies for many of the country's most well-known brands, including Pillsbury, Hallmark, Fruit of the Loom, and Allstate. Mr. Emmanuele holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
